The breath of summer in the northern hemisphere is bringing our attention to coming into fullness, as spring growth matures. Many people are also thinking about “issues” growing at home and abroad, from climate change to the price of fuel.
In the midst of all the changes and disruptions in the world, and in the midst of the pursuit of our desires, remember to take a moment and look outside at the beauty of nature and glory of the day. Really look at the trees, the sky; feel the wind, the sun. Have they changed so much since you were little? What then has changed? Your view of the world, perhaps? If you can recall and revisit your childhood wonder of nature and the world, a sense of composure and peace will enfold you, no matter what happens around you. It is your choice to maintain this inner peace, and it is your gift that you can.

On Sunday, June 15, I had the honor of ordaining six Licentiate Ministers in Calgary (please see photo). Congratulations for all your hard work!
I have been an ordained Reverend in the Universal Church of the Master (UCM) since 1995. UCM is an international spiritualist church, founded in 1908, where its members are encouraged to develop and exercise their spiritual powers. In addition to cultivating a ministry, UCM offers educational programs and degrees including Associates, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs.
These six newly-ordained ministers were enrolled in my Healer’s Training Program, which enabled them to take one year off the two-year ministerial program. They studied the remainder of the year’s time in UCM philosophy and ministerial services. Four of the six have said they will study with me for an additional year to become UCM Reverends. This is the first time for the Province of Alberta, Canada to have the presence of the Universal Church of the Master.

I hope you will take some time this summer to reflect on the goodness and abundance that exists in our universe. The treasures to be uncovered are many, and they are within you.
