Light News Institute, founded by Dr. Richard Jelusich, is dedicated to supporting individuals in deepening self-awareness, cultivating self-empowerment, and expanding spiritual understanding. With decades of experience studying and practicing a wide range of ancient wisdom traditions and spiritual modalities, Dr. Jelusich brings a grounded and integrative approach to personal and spiritual development.

Through Light News Institute, individuals can access one-on-one Intuitive Spiritual Counselling and Integrative Chakra Therapy® energy balancing sessions, as well as a variety of opportunities for learning and growth. These include thoughtful articles, workshops, courses, mentorship, and practitioner and instructor training in Integrative Chakra Therapy®.

Light News Institute also serves as a space for connection, where like-minded individuals can build community and share in a collective journey of exploration and growth. Our intention is to offer grounded insight and practical support to inspire personal transformation and holistic living.

Our Story

Dr. Richard Jelusich began his journey in the early 1990’s studying the chakras and the Human Biofield. His love of comprehending through his academic and spiritual research the way the chakras affect our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, led to the development of his theory of dominant chakras. this led to the form of energy medicine today known as Integrative Chakra Therapy® (ICT). He began teaching ICT practitioners in late 1999 in the U.S. and Canada his unique 3 year course of study and continues to this day with over 500 students and graduates.

years ago. I asked you if you thought I would be able to have a child with my husband who is HIV+. At that time, I was told by the medical world I would not be able to conceive with my husband’s sperm as the risk of infection was too great. I tried using donor sperm and had two very early miscarriages. I was devastated. You told me that I would be able to have a baby with my husband's sperm and at the time I was so devastated that I did not believe you. Well, one year ago my husband and I were accepted into a program in Boston that helps couples in our situation. In August of 2001 my husband and I did in-vitro fertilization using my husband’s individual sperm cells that tested negative for HIV. I am now 7 months pregnant, with my husband’s baby! I am due in May and we are having a healthy baby boy. All tests have come back normal and I am completely beside myself with joy. I thought you would want to know that your prediction was right. Today, I am a little less skeptical about what a miracle is, and that what I see at any given moment may not be as it really is. I hope to meet you again someday. I am finally back from Arizona and didn't want to let too much time pass before I thanked you for the exceptionally nice flower reading evening. All the comments coming to me were full of praise for you & your work. My sister in particular thought that the readings you did for her adult children were quite accurate and thought they would be pleased as well. The laser show was a wonderful surprise too! One thing I wanted to comment on--you are very knowledgeable and skillful in your presentations! We all see the impact your work has on our daily lives and think it is much more than special....more like influential with a sensitive touch! The readings give us permission to heal. Something that not a lot of others will openly admit they want for the people in their lives. I think the "fear of loss" plays a large role in their resistance..... Up until the time I called Dr. Jelusich for a life reading, my life had been, at best, mediocre, and at worst, miserable. At the time I called him, I was a live-in, primary caregiver for a terminally ill woman. I was feeling totally drained, emotionally, physically and mentally, and didn’t know which way to go with my life. I won’t get into the personal things he told me, but, the way he read me was nothing short of mind-boggling: and the characteristic I appreciated about him the most was that he had the courage to tell me the Truth about areas in my Life where I needed to work. This was exactly what I wanted from him. As I told Dr. Jelusich, I didn’t want someone who was going to flatter and B.S. me. He laid it on the line, and it has been the most empowering experience I have had in my life. I have a strong metaphysical background -- studying astrology, numerology, Runes, card reading, anything to help me understand my life better. I have studied under numerous disciplines and teachers, and I realize that you have to be ready to receive before you can receive anything. I attended my first Flower Reading session with you. I was just awed at how you picked up on my family background, and the advice you had for me. But, what really got my attention was the way you did pick up on my health problems, and preceded to do a healing. My point is that I viewed the healing for a problem I have lived with for years, however, within a month’s time it became a very serious problem with my female organs, which had to be removed with the fear of “Cancer.” Now Rick and readers, I am not saying that that healing removed the Cancer, but with all the tumors that were found, and the state of my ovaries, well, it hit me like a ton of bricks as to what you truly saw and tried so hard to heal.
