It’s not “Whether.” It’s “That!”

In addition to secular, academic study, I devoted my intuitive skills to assessing the chakra system and the biofield and its characteristics affecting the whole human being. I found in my research, spiritual counseling and energy medicine (mind-body-spirit as both teacher and practitioner) for more than 30 years that I was completely convinced of our dual nature!

That became crystal clear to me that the chakras are conduits of consciousness between the dimensions of ourselves (the physical, astral and causal dimensions, of which we exist) and that they affect the four archetypes of the Whole Human Being (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual).

Over thousands of sessions with people all over the world, assessing the character of people’s chakras, I found that it is not whether we possess powers and capabilities that are beyond the physical dimension, it is that we all have these abilities that lay dormant or latent. In countless counseling sessions, I would point out a person’s strengths, what to do about externalizing them and how to go about doing it. I called it self-empowerment, but it cannot happen unless the person is willing to allow those inner powers to come forth. It is never whether those powers are there!

In my research, teachings, writings and in prior blogs, I’ve illustrated the various powers that lay dormant in the chakras, just waiting to be awakened. The big challenge with the metaphysics of our nature is its provability, which today science is showing to be true what mystics have been saying for millennia.

Let’s look at the solar plexus (manipura or third) chakra, the one above your navel. It is the chakra of truth, power and uniqueness. Each chakra has a latent power, and the main teaching of the third chakra is not whether you are powerful, it is that you are powerful! The key is to accept the power that you already are: there is no power to go and get, but rather to REVEAL through your realization!

Each chakra possesses its own innate abilities, affecting the way we perceive life and our perspectives. Yet each chakra is a KEY to unlocking higher powers, should we choose to do so.

Paramahansa Yogananda said: “You do not have to struggle to reach God, but you do have to struggle to tear away the self-created veil that hides him from you”. That is another way of saying there is no separation between you and all that is.

Each chakra has abilities and powers that are ready to be revealed through your prayers, meditations, spiritual practices, yoga philosophy and practice and more. It is whether you are willing to reveal that which you already are – you already possess (are) the qualities you seek. There is only to continue, to persevere.
