Love is ALL there is! Can you imagine what life would be like on this planet if that were the case? If everyone’s first thought was about how in the many ways available to us, we could express love? Love for each other, love for what we do, love for our beloved planet, love for our spiritual path?
Love unifies all. Sometimes it is very difficult for us to express that love simply because the profundity of love is beyond our physical understanding. That is because love is beyond time and space and has no limit. And yet because we are spirits having a physical existence, we absolutely feel that profundity and yet have difficulty expressing it in its fullness although we tryto communicate that fullness in many many ways.
There’s a phrase in the Bible (Romans 8:26) that says something like though we know not how to pray as we ought, the Holy Spirit maketh intercession for us and groanings too deep for meaning. Our hearts fully grasp this fullness! Because our minds are linear though, we always find ways to externalize it that communicates its fullness! Perhaps through music, architecture, poetry, math, and more! There are countless ways to externalize and communicate that love in our hearts!
As well, as we exchange gifts and professions of our love to each other let us all open our hearts to receive a part of that which we offer to others. As Louise Hay said, “Fill the cup of your own love first. That which overflows give that away to others.“
It’s easy to say, but sometimes it’s so very difficult to do because it requires us to be vulnerable to love, but how much better it is to be vulnerable to receive love as you give it? To allow yourself to have your cup filled with love, so much love that you think you’re just going to burst unless you share that beauty and that purity within you with others and in all that you do?
Kahlil Gilbran in his book The Prophet said that love will lift you to great heights, though hidden in the pinions is the sword that may wound you in love. But to me, it means “Spread your wings, you must!”
It all starts with you. Take a moment right now, and feel the love that you have for your spouse, your family, your pets, the work that you, our planet and so forth. Can you feel such gratitude to be able to express this love and to feel its purity within you, because it is not whether the purity of love exist within you it’s that it exists! It’s very simple for you to just take a moment and dive into that profound nature of that which love is. It is timeless, eternal, and unending!
Love is All There is!
