Understanding the true essence of integral health can be a very tricky business because we are explaining phenomena that is beyond just the physical essence of the human being. When we talk about the whole human being what we mean is the mind, the body, and the spirit.
In essence, it is our spiritual nature that actually holds our physical body in this dimension, and I know what that must sound like if you’re reading this for the first time. When we talk about integral health the practitioner is experienced not just in an academic or intellectual understanding of the whole human being but in the spiritual or non-physical.
The practitioner themselves must undertake their own learned experience and expanding their awareness that moves beyond an intellectual understanding into a kind of higher level comprehension of the energy medicine and the energy psychology that is the root of what is called true healing.
That is, the practitioner in their own training has to expand their awareness in some form of spiritual endeavors or practices including yoga, meditation, and other forms of spiritual endeavors to awaken themselves to higher levels of being that is not within the grasp of the intellectual understanding.
But, by doing so in expanding their awareness they have collapsed the difference between the physical and the non-physical so that there is a kind of a merging that takes place of these two distinct and seldom understood levels of the human being.
Again, that is that we have a physical essence, but we also have a spiritual essence that exists simultaneously so we are actually embodying what you might call two sides of the same coin. It’s one coin that it has two aspects that are physical and non physical at the same time.
And here is the really cool part. The fact that the practitioner themselves have awakened their spiritual awareness means that they actually impart that qualitative state to their clients and patients. This is what I call in my parlance a radiatory effect of the spiritual nature of the level of “awakeness” of the practitioner themselves.
Technically, in my teachings I call it representation through relationship. That the client or patient takes a psychic relationship to what the advanced practitioner represents spiritually and thus they are then affected by that level of awakeness. That then helps the clients by that level of expanded awareness to collapse and dissolve the barriers between that person and higher states of health whether it is physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual.
And if that’s not enough here’s a really pull part also. The person who seeks healing to the true integral health practitioner has already in some way created the means for that practitioner to appear in their life. Although I recognize most people don’t realize this spiritual and energetic dynamic and nonetheless exists. Your practitioner will also help to expand your awareness of your own self empowerment because they themselves have been on the same journey.
That true practitioner is only here to help you empower yourself to help you expand your awareness and to collapse any difference between the idea of you being separate from higher orders of yourself. Thus the essence of what self-empowerment really is.
