Love is the most powerful energy that there is. It is beyond the grasp of space and time and we all feel its healing power and the ability to recognize how connected we truly all are through our hearts. It is so essential to come from a place where we not only are Love, but radiate LOVE. That in itself contributes to our sense of well-being and wholeness.
That quality of Love cannot be exhausted nor quantified or measured, because its origin is Universal Source. That also means we all are inseparable in the profound nature of that which love represents.
There is Biblical saying: “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26 KJV) I have always taken this scriptural phrase to mean that the essence of Love itself is so deep, so profound that we have difficulty uttering its fullness. Perhaps that is why we endeavor to express Love in myriad ways; to communicate most fully that essence of who we are.
Because Love comes from Universal Source, we can continue to represent its fullness more completely by being conduits of that Love!
It is also so good to express the essence of gratitude for the many blessings we enjoy; it is uplifting to the soul and to those around us. We join together in the spirit of these holidays that represent the connection we all have to our heart centers – to each other.
I have said that the best way to help others is to continue to evolve and improve yourself. By embracing the purity of love itself and expressing gratitude for our blessings, our vibrations go out to the entire universe, thus promoting health and wellness.
There is scientific evidence showing that love and gratitude have beneficial effects to our health, including our immune system and other biomarkers.
Here is simple heart-centered exercise to allow that quality of LOVE to radiate through you to all:
- Sit comfortably. Start by closing your eyes and gently breathing, while focusing on the area of your heart center. Breathe as though your lungs extend down to your belt line. Do this for a few moments.
- Concentrate on the word LOVE while focusing on your heart center, and feel the power of Universal LOVE coming to your heart center and filling it like a great golden goblet.
- Allow that which begins to overflow to radiate LOVE outward to all, mindful that LOVE is flowing through you from Universal Source.
- Feel that Love as it fills your heart center: bask in the glow as it overflows and radiates outward to our global community.
- After a few minutes, rest and breathe normally.
This exercise is very powerful, and the effects continue long afterwards. There is an old-time spiritualist saying that goes: “a little oil sticks to your funnel.” As you become more of the conduit of LOVE, that quality emanates through you to all creation!
